2018 Football Raffle

Official House Rules

  • There will be two winning raffle tickets drawn. The individual on each winning ticket will receive one (1) Prize. The same individual may win both Prizes if his/her name is drawn twice, made possible by purchasing two (2) or more raffle tickets.

  • The Prize for each winning raffle ticket consists of two (2) premium-level season tickets for the 2018 Virginia Tech Football season and 1 premium parking space in the Lancaster House parking lot.

  • A total of 4,000 tickets will be printed and available for sale.

  • Price per raffle ticket will be as follows: One (1) raffle ticket for $25.00 or Five (5) raffle tickets for $100.00.

  • Tickets will be sold from September 8th, 2017 (or as soon as approval is received) to 6:55 p.m. EST on Friday, August 17th, 2018.

  • Tickets are available for purchase from Y volunteers, in the Y offices, online, and over the phone.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a raffle ticket.

  • There is no limit to the number of tickets that any purchaser can purchase.

  • Winner does not need to be present to win.

  • Winner will be notified via e-mail, telephone call, and / or U.S. postal mail

  • The drawing will be held on Friday, August 17th, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Y Center located at 1000 N. Main St., Blacksburg, VA 24060

  • Members of the YMCA at Virginia Tech’s Board of Directors, Senior Leadership Staff, and their spouses are ineligible to purchase raffle tickets.

  • By purchasing a raffle ticket, each individual agrees to have his/her contact information added to the Y at VT’s database for future communication purposes.

  • Winner agrees to allow the Y at VT to utilize his/her name and likeness in marketing and communication projects.

  • Prize may be subject to taxes; payment of that tax is the responsibility of the winner. As such, winner must complete an IRS Form 1099.
